Nottingham University Hospitals Foundation Trust has dismissed 11 staff members and sanctioned 14 others for inappropriately accessing the medical records of Nottingham attack victims.
The victims, students Barnaby Webber and Grace O’Malley-Kumar, and grandfather Ian Coates, were killed in a stabbing rampage by Valdo Calocane on 13 June 2023.
The trust’s investigation, which commenced in early 2025, aimed to identify wrongdoing and take necessary action.
Disciplinary outcomes included 11 dismissals, 12 final written warnings, and two first written warnings.
The staff involved in the inappropriate access included doctors, nurses, other registered medical professionals, and administrative personnel.
