Brazil head coach Carlo Ancelotti announced the 26-man squad for the 2026 World Cup at a ceremony in Rio de Janeiro on Monday, 18th May.
The highly anticipated squad confirmed the inclusion of 34-year-old Neymar, Brazil’s leading goalscorer, who has been in strong form for Santos.
Ancelotti had previously indicated that Neymar’s talent was beyond question, with his physical condition being the primary factor for selection.
Key players named in the squad include goalkeepers Alisson and Ederson, midfielders Casemiro and Bruno Guimarães, and forwards Vinicius Junior and Endrick.
Brazil will begin their World Cup campaign in Group C against Morocco on 13th June, before facing Haiti and Scotland.
