Olivia and Liam remained the most popular baby names in America for the seventh consecutive year in 2025, according to the U.S. Social Security Administration.
For girls, Charlotte climbed to second place, ending Emma’s six-year run as the runner-up.
The name Ava dropped out of the top 10 girls’ names, replaced by Eliana, which debuted in tenth place.
The top 10 boys’ names saw no new entries, with Liam, Noah, Oliver and Theodore holding their top four positions.
The Social Security Administration annually releases this data, compiled from Social Security card applications submitted at birth.
