Nasarawa Amazons have received a cash reward of N45 million for winning the 2026 Women President Federation Cup.
The state governor, Abdullahi Sule announced the donation to the team at a ceremony in Lafia on Friday.
Nasarawa Amazons players will receive a donation of N25 million, while the technical and management team will get N15million.
The Amazons supporters club will receive N5 million for the team’s success.
The state government also made a personal cash donation of $1,000.00 each to the Most Valuable Player of the Women’s FA Cup and Nasarawa Amazons’ Hembafan Ayatsea, and her teammate, Udoka Unachukwu, who emerged as the Best Goalkeeper of the competition, $500 each to the other 34 players of Nasarawa Amazons.
Nasarawa Amazons beat Heartland Queens 5-6 on penalties in the final of the competition in Asaba.
