Elsewhere, Amazon has knocked £50.99 off the Philips Sonicare Cordless Power Flosser 3000 at £69 (was £119.99). This model is designed with an X-shaped tip that separates water flow into four jets, which is said to deliver a faster, deeper clean.
A more affordable option is the Oclean A10 AirPump Water Flosser for £29.99 (was £99.99) at Argos. This compact device combines pressurised air and water jets but may not offer the same power as more premium models.

One five-star review says: “I have tried several water flossers, but this is the best one. Even my dentist said that my teeth and gums are the best they have ever been. 100% best on the market.”
Another says: “Really pleased with this, it’s easy to use and clean. I love the idea that bacteria are killed by the UV light function, and the pressure of the water is really good. Takes a little getting used to and getting the hang of it, but wow does your mouth feel super clean afterwards.”

Despite saying they ‘love’ Spotlight’s Water Flosser, this buyer deducted a star from their review as they initially found it ‘messy’ to use. They said: “Love the product. A bit messy to use at the start, water was going everywhere, but getting used to it now.”
