  • Hyundai is recalling 54,337 2024-2026 Elantra Hybrid vehicles in the U.S. due to a fire risk associated with an overheating hybrid power control unit.
  • The overheating unit can cause vehicles to fail to start or enter a reduced-power mode, potentially leading to localized thermal damage.
  • Tesla recently recalled 173 2024-2026 Cybertrucks because cracking in the rotor could cause the wheel stud to separate from the wheel hub, increasing the risk of a crash.
  • For the Cybertruck recall, Tesla will replace the front and rear brake rotors, hubs, and lug nuts with more durable parts at no cost to owners.
  • Tesla is also recalling over 200,000 Model Y, Model S, Model X, and Model 3 electric vehicles due to a software issue that can temporarily disable the rearview camera.
