A mum is living in fear after a terrifying masked gang smashed up her car and the windows of her home before later returning to torch the vehicle.
The thugs targeted Audrey Caughey’s home at Staffa Road in Cambuslang on Monday.
CCTV footage from the 54-year-old’s home shows four men wearing balaclavas and dressed all in black storm towards the property with poles and bats.
They race towards Audrey’s silver vehicle with the weapons held over their heads before battering into the car, smashing windows and lights before moving onto a red car parked beside it.

Audrey then took her car to her daughter’s home on nearby Gartmore Terrace in Cambuslang to get it out of the way, but the same mob then targeted it again at that address in the early hours of Tuesday.
Dramatic footage taken outside the property shows flames engulfing the vehicle after the gang torched it.
Audrey, who lives alone, believes she was targeted in a case of mistaken identity.
She has now been left scared to leave her house and pleaded with those responsible to leave her alone.
She said: “The gang jumped out a car smashed both my car up and my house windows and came back later in the evening to finish the job off. I thought it was safe parking it at my daughter’s house, but clearly not.

“These people think I’m someone I’m not. I live on my own. This has to stop.
“I don’t even want to leave my house incase they come back.”
Frightened residents who heard explosions outside of their homes said they fear being targeted too.

One local, who shared footage of the blaze anonymously said: “I was in my bed, but wide awake and could hear noises outside.
“Then I heard big smash of glass, looked outside and within seconds the car was up in flames.”
Rochelle Saw said: “Absolutely disgusting! Feel bad for the owners because they are the ones who’ll have to replace them and take the hit with their insurance while there’s no consequences for the culprits.”
