Michael Carrick continues to influence major change at Manchester United as a new era gets underway at Old Trafford. The Red Devils icon has already stamped his own mark on the team but is on the verge of separating himself further from predecessor Ruben Amorim.
That’s after the club agreed a record deal that has put them ahead of even the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City. Carrick has already put United back where they belong after securing a return to the Champions League and has more history on the horizon.
Elsewhere, the club is hoping to make progress regarding Marcus Rashford‘s transfer fate following his loan at Barcelona. Mirror Football rounds up today’s top headlines as United look to escalate two big pieces of business both on and off the pitch.

United are set to receive the Amazon treatment following reports they’ll become the next club to be the subject of an ‘All Or Nothing’ docuseries. Carrick’s first full season at the helm will be captured in intimate detail following word United have signed a lucrative deal to go under the microscope.
No other comparable All Or Nothing series can match the reported £10million United will supposedly be paid for the pleasure. That’s more than either Arsenal, Tottenham or Manchester City made from their respective deals.
It’s alleged the club was also approached to allow film crews behind the scenes when Ruben Amorim was in charge. However, the Portuguese boss was seemingly a lot more reticent to the idea than his successor.
The fact Carrick has agreed to the all-access coverage taking place in such a critical campaign speaks to a certain level of confidence from the manager. Meanwhile, Amorim may be considered vindicated in his refusal to let cameras in last season after he was fired in January.
It’s reported filming will begin soon, starting with United’s pre-season tour of Europe. The All Or Nothing Crew will also follow the club’s women’s and academy teams over the course of the 2026/27 campaign.

Having seen a dream move to Barcelona fall apart, Rashford may yet join another member of Europe’s elite. Fabrizio Romano reported Bayern Munich have made their interest known and sounded out bosses at Old Trafford over a move.
He said on his podcast that calls have been received from the Bundesliga champions. Barcelona have seemingly ended their pursuit of a permanent move for Rashford despite his success on loan at the Camp Nou.

Los Cules have spent a whopping £70m to sign England team-mate Anthony Gordon from Newcastle in an even clearer sign the deal is now dead. Bayern, meanwhile, are making moves of their own and just announced a £45m deal has been agreed to sign PSV and Morocco star Ismael Saibari.
That could be an indicator that they too have moved on from Rashford, however, considering they play similar positions. Any move to Bavaria would see Rashford link up with Three Lions captain Harry Kane. However, the deal for Morroco talisman Saibari may suggest Die Roten have already found their man to help fill that hole in attack.
