Bruno Fernandes equalled the Premier League record for assists in a single season, reaching 20 during Manchester United’s 3-2 victory over Nottingham Forest.
The win secured third place for Manchester United in the league standings, capping off a successful campaign.
Fernandes’ record-equalling assist set up Bryan Mbeumo’s goal, which was United’s third of the match.
Luke Shaw and Matheus Cunha also scored for Manchester United, with Cunha’s goal being awarded after a VAR review for a potential handball.
Nottingham Forest’s goals came from Morato and Morgan Gibbs-White, while Michael Carrick confirmed he would remain as head coach and Casemiro made his final Old Trafford appearance.
