A man was left with “blood pouring from his head” after an alleged disturbance in Fife. Emergency services raced to Cowdenbeath High Street on Sunday evening, July 12, following the incident.
Cops and ambulance crews descended on the street at around 6pm. One man was taken to hospital for treatment following the incident
No information as to the extent or seriousness of his injuries has been released by police. Eyewitnesses claimed a man was left “covered in blood” after the alleged disturbance.

A 46-year-old man has since been arrested and charged in connection. He has since been released on an undertaking to appear at court at a later date.
Images taken from the scene show multiple police vehicles on scene parked outside a photography studio and a florist. In another picture, an ambulance can be seen in the distance while four police officers appear to be attending to a man on the ground.
A video posted on social media shows the ambulance arriving on scene with siren blaring while police begin enquiries into the disturbance.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6pm on Sunday, July 12, officers received a report of a disturbance on High Street, Cowdenbeath. One man was taken to hospital for treatment.
“A 46-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection and was released on an undertaking to appear at court at a later date.”
The Scottish Ambulance Service were contacted for comment.
