Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has sacked the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Inclusion in the state, Mrs Toyin Balogun.
Makinde made this announcement in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Dr Sulaimon Olanrewaju, on Wednesday.
The governor said that Balogun has been replaced with Alhaja Joke Sanni, a former occupant of the position.
He thanked Balogun for her contributions to the development of the state and wished her success in her future endeavour.
DAILY POST gathered that Sanni, had earlier served as the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Inclusion from 2019 to 2023.
She was later moved to the Ministry of Special Duties in 2023 before being recently redeployed to the Ministry of Trade, Industry, Investment and Cooperative.
The statement added that the new redeployment takes immediate effect.
