The latest Love Island recoupling has caused a huge stir – and sent a former favourite packing. The boys were tasked with picking the girl they wanted to share a bed with, and after Alex paired with Namibia, scouse girl Robyn was left standing alone. As were Angelista and Ellie.
“Simba & Tommy are on their way to meet you,” read a text as two new bombshells made their way to the villa. New arrivals Simba and Tommy made an impactful debut, greeting the group as the girls get their first glimpse of the bombshells.
The surprises kept coming as Lorenzo received another text telling the two new boys they must pick from the remaining girls to couple up with.

With Simba the first to step forward, followed by Tommy, the girls were left sweating. But as Simba chose Angelista and Tommy picked Ellie, the islanders were left devastated after Robyn was dumped from the villa.
Robyn had entered the villa as one of the show’s pre-favourites, but a friendship with Sam, followed by George’s shock exit for personal reasons, left the surveyor struggling to find a romantic connection.
Speaking of her exit, she said: “It’s bittersweet. I’ve made friends for life, but I’m genuinely happy. It was definitely my time. I doubt someone was going to come in for me and there was no one in there at the minute, so I don’t think it would have been fair for other people to leave. I had a ball, but I was ready to go home.”
She explained she has learned a lot from the show: “It taught me lessons and made me stronger. You might think you’ll go in there, have a ball, meet the love of your life on day one, and go on to have kids, but it sometimes doesn’t work like that, unfortunately. You have to have a strong personality and be able to handle your feelings. But it was the most surreal experience.”

Fans weren’t happy over her exit. On X, formerly known as Twitter, one user said: “Absolutely ridiculous that she got sent home she’s the best blonde on the show #loveisland.”
And another added: “Robyn didn’t deserve this. #loveisland” But a third wrote: “Robyn can go home and couple up with George on the outside. Her man wasn’t in there #loveisland.”
In the recoupling, Kavan had a tough devision to make and left Ellie gutted after he opted to make a go of things with Jasmine. And Lorenzo was unsure what to do when it came to his turn.

Undecided, he asked his villa mates for advice as he said he didn’t know where his head is. But he had to pick just one and decided to couple up with Priya. But his speech left a lot to be desired, with Samraj noticing he didn’t share a single compliment with his new partner.
