Rail passengers are facing major disruption with trains to and from London Waterloo cancelled, delayed or revised.
South Western Railway said there is “significant disruption across all routes” due to issues with communication systems at the station this morning.
The service initially said disruption was expected to last until midday. However, it now says delays could continue until the end of the day. Impacted passenger’s tickets can be used on Great Western Railway, Southern and CrossCountry services via any reasonable route.

South Western Rail has warned customers to expect disruption until the end of the day.
The train operator said there is currently no ETA for when signalling will be back to normal.

South Western Railway says tickets are being accepted on alternative services at no additional cost.
This includes:
- Great Western Railway services via any reasonable route
- Southern services via any reasonable route
- CrossCountry services via any reasonable route
- Transport for London buses between London Waterloo and Clapham Junction, Wimbledon, Staines, and Chessington South.
