Livestreamer known for racist videos accused of shooting man outside courthouse
‘Chud the Builder’ livestreams from scene of Clarksville court shooting
Social mediainfluencer Dalton Eatherly, known as “Chud the Builder” and for racist and provocative livestreams, is accused of shooting a man outside the Montgomery County Courthouse in Tennessee.
Deputies responded to reports of shots fired around 1:20 p.m. on Wednesday, finding two men with gunshot wounds.
District Attorney General Robert Nash stated Eatherly opened fire and appeared to have shot himself in the arm during the incident.
Eatherly was hospitalized, and the other unidentified man was airlifted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
The incident follows Eatherly’s recent arrest for allegedly refusing to pay a $371 restaurant bill and making racial statements during a livestream.
