LEKKI GARDENS EXPOSED! Finally, everyone can see the truth!

It is time to expose how for many years, investors have trusted this company and built massive wealth buying real estate from them.
For years, one question has quietly followed us: “What exactly has Lekki Gardens been doing?”
No noisy campaigns. No theatrical unveilings. No influencer parades. Just… silence.
Well. It’s time to break it.
While the industry was busy talking, we were busy building. And what we were building is not a rumour. It is a growing list of finished buildings in Ikoyi, Osborne, Ikeja GRA, Ikate, Oniru, and beyond, with real keys, in real hands, of real customers.
Here is the “exposé” nobody expected:
In 2018, a young couple came to our Ikate office and put down a deposit on Horizon 1. Construction hadn’t even reached the second floor. They were nervous. They had heard the stories everyone in Lagos has heard about off-plan real estate: money paid, promises made and buildings that never rise.
The husband asked us directly: “How do I know this won’t just become another story?”
We didn’t have a clever answer for him either. We told him to come back in eighteen months and see for himself.
He did. Horizon 1 was delivered on schedule, and by the time the extension and New Horizon 2 were completed around it, that single street in Ikate had quietly become one of the largest concentrations of finished, occupied housing in the entire Lekki corridor.
On Banana Island Road, one of our early investors paid ₦80 million for a unit two years before we delivered Riverside Apartments. When she resold it a few years after handover, it went for ₦120 million.
In Osborne, Ikoyi, Foreshore Terraces, Insignia and Le Chateau are all delivered. One buyer who picked up three units back in 2018 resold two of them before delivery and, by his own account to us, cleared well over ₦100 million in profit before the third unit was even handed over.
We’ve since delivered projects in Harold Shodipo and Oba Akinjobi 1 and 2, in Ikeja GRA. Also, in Oniru, buyers who paid under ₦40 million during construction are now holding completed, handed-over units worth several times that.
But the most interesting part of these stories is not what the properties are worth today. It is what many of those buyers did after their first purchase. They came back. Again. And again.
Today, 19,750 customers have trusted us with a purchase. We have already delivered to 19,000 of them. And 15,000 have gone on to buy a second, third or fourth property from us. We did not have to convince them with another campaign. Their first experience did the convincing for us.
And that, perhaps more than anything else, tells the story of what we have been building all these years. Not just houses. Trust.
The market noticed too. Our ₦25 billion SEC-approved Commercial Paper Programme — most recently a ₦11.45 billion Series 2 issuance — was oversubscribed. Institutional and corporate investors were willing to put their money behind a company whose track record was no longer something we needed to explain. It was already standing across Lagos in concrete and glass.
As our Founder and CEO, Dr Richard Nyong, said recently: “Over the years, people have been asking what Lekki Gardens has been doing. Well, we felt it was necessary to take our time and deliver for people. We’ve had 19,750 customers. We’ve had 15,000 customers that bought multiple homes. As at this point, we have only 750 customers left to be delivered.”
So yes, we’ve been “exposed”. Guilty as charged.
Exposed for building in Ikoyi, Osborne, Ikeja GRA, Ikate, Oniru and beyond. Exposed for delivering homes to thousands of customers.
Exposed for helping investors create wealth.
And most importantly, exposed for turning first-time buyers into repeat customers. We were working the whole time. We just let the buildings speak first.
