King visits victims of Golders Green stabbing

PA MediaThe King has visited Golders Green to meet the victims of last month’s stabbings in the neighbourhood, in a show of support for the Jewish community.
Charles visited a Jewish Care charity centre to meet victims Shloime Rand, 34, and 76-year-old Moshe Ben Baila, who is also known as Norman Shine.
Outside, the King greeted crowds of well wishers, commenting to one man that “it’s a dangerous world isn’t it?”
Charles also met Chief Rabbi Sir Ephraim Mirvis, who said the royal visit to north London was “appreciated enormously”.
PA MediaCharles also spoke with members of the Jewish community police force Shomrim, who were involved in responding to the attacks on 29 April.
The King spent time greeting a number of people from the community who had gathered outside, and said to some waiting: “I hope I haven’t disrupted your normal activities too much.”
Essa Suleiman, 45, appeared in court on 1 May accused of two counts of attempted murder.
