Katie Price will be called as a witness when her ex-husband is tried on child sex charges.
Kieran Hayler, 39, is accused of raping a 13-year-old girl. Hayler appeared at Lewes Crown Court today (May 21) to hear his trial will go ahead in October. Katie will give evidence.
Hayler was married and living with Price at her former home at Dial Post in West Sussex when he is said to have attacked the girl, now aged 23.
Mr Hayler, wearing a blue suit, white shirt and grey tie, spoke only to confirm his name.

Stripper and reality TV star Mr Hayler met Price in 2012 and proposed on Christmas Day. They married at a luxury Caribbean resort the following year. She paid £1.35million for the house in 2014.
Mr Hayler is charged with raping the girl on three different occasions and one court of sexual assault. All the offences took place while he was still married to Katie Price.
In a statement, police said: “We can confirm Kieran Hayler, 38, of Northchapel, West Sussex has been charged with three counts of rape and one count of sexual assault against a 13-year-old girl.
“The offences are alleged to have occurred at an address in West Sussex. The girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has received support from specially trained officers as our enquiries continue.”
Speaking in October, a legal representative denied the allegations on Hayler’s behalf. They said: “Kieran Hayler strongly denies the allegations made against him in its entirety. Mr Hayler is fully engaged and has been cooperating with the police throughout the investigation and will continue to do so. He looks forward to his name being cleared believing in the judicial system to do so.”
Mr Hayler was bailed until the trial on October 5.
