The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, has advised motorists travelling through parts of Kaduna and the Federal Capital Territory to make use of the Kachia-Bwari route to ease traffic congestion and ensure safer movement.

The Corps Marshal of the FRSC, Shehu Mohammed, gave the advice while appealing to road users to remain cautious and cooperate with traffic officials managing vehicular movement along busy corridors.

Mohammed said the Kachia-Bwari route remains a safer alternative for motorists, especially those heading towards the Federal Capital Territory and surrounding areas, amid increased traffic pressure on major roads.

He urged drivers to obey traffic regulations, avoid dangerous overtaking, speeding and reckless driving, stressing that safety must remain a priority for all road users.

According to him, “Motorists should prioritize safety and obey traffic rules while avoiding speeding, dangerous overtaking, drunk driving and other traffic violations that could lead to avoidable crashes.”

The FRSC also assured commuters that officers have been deployed to monitor traffic flow and assist travellers where necessary as part of efforts to reduce accidents and ease movement.
