Isaac Fayose, younger brother to former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has described the freezing of Osun state government’s account as a joke taken too far.
Fayose made this statement in a video posted on his verified Facebook page on Thursday.
Recall that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Wednesday froze Osun state government’s account a few days to the governorship election in the state.
Reaction, Fayose said, “EFCC freezing Osun state government’s account is a joke taken too far.
“Nigerians are sitting down and watching these people bastardizing our democracy. They keep doing it because you are quiet.
“They keep doing it because they are sure that whatever they throw at you, you will grab it.
“How can you freeze a whole state government’s account? Why didn’t you freeze Ekiti state government’s account last month in June during their own governorship election? Why did you allow Ekiti to buy vote?” He asked.
