Joe Lycett to run a pub for new Channel 4 series
- Comedian Joe Lycett is set to host a new six-part live entertainment series on Channel 4 titled The Lycett Arms.
- The 38-year-old presenter will open an east London pub for just one hour a week on Friday nights during the show’s run.
- To legally host the show, Lycett undertook a training course and passed an exam to become an accredited personal licence-holder.
- Each episode will feature a celebrity pub manager and pair with a real boozer to highlight the importance of local pubs to communities.
- The Lycett Arms begins broadcasting live on Channel 4 at 10pm on Friday 4 September.
