Jeremy Clarkson has shared his emotional reaction to seeing his farmers’ choir win Britain’s Got Talent, declaring it “the best thing ever”. The Clarkson’s Farm star was seen tearing up in the audience on Saturday, 30 May, when the choir he put together, The Hawkstone Farmers Choir, were crowned the winners of the talent show.
Appearing in a video posted to head judge Simon Cowell’s Instagram, Jeremy said: “That was incredible wasn’t it? I was genuinely nervous. The girl at the door said, ‘Oh, I’m not sure they’re going to win’ The odds were drifting, and I thought, no. These guys worked so hard, it’s the best thing ever, Simon, thank you for having them.”
Simon responded: “Well you’ve heard it from me, you’ve heard it from Jeremy, and yeah, they did deserve it. Great winners, great finalists… thanks everyone for watching.”

Jeremy wasn’t the only one celebrating. His co-star, Kaleb Cooper, was seen going wild and erupting into cheers as he watched Britain’s Got Talent from a pub. Kaleb, Jeremy’s partner Lisa Hogan and Clarkson’s Farm star Charlie Ireland were all at The Farmer’s Dog, a pub in Burford.
Kaleb and Charlie were seen jumping up and down whilst fist-pumping the air as they heard the results. Fans flooded the comment section of the video after it was shared online.
They praised the singers and one wrote: “Amazing. Elated for farmers across our country. BRILLIANT.” Another said: “This is a great day for British farmers. Not only that, but representing the best of Britain.”

After their victory during last night’s show, choir leader Katryna Shell said: “We are the first ever choir to have won Britain’s Got Talent. This is for all the farmers out there. For anyone who’s struggling, it’s not a taboo subject, speak up!”
The 34-strong choir get to pocket a £250,000 cash prize and have earned the opportunity to perform at the prestigious annual Royal Variety Performance.
Prior to taking to the stage, the group described Jeremy as their “biggest cheerleader”, adding they “couldn’t thank him enough”. Meanwhile, judge KSI revealed he was keen to add their original track, This Is Home, to his Spotify playlist following their performance.

Amanda Holden teared up after their performance and later told Ant and Dec that while she couldn’t predict who would win the show, she hoped it was the choir.
The runner-up was the drone show team Celestial, while dog act Anastasiia and Salsa came third. Boos could be heard from the audience when it was revealed that dance team LMA and singer Matty Juniosa hadn’t cracked the top three. Matty was a particular favourite, as Britain’s Got Talent’s first winner, Paul Potts, said he was the “one to beat”.
