ITV has launched an epic World Cup sweepstake with a whole host of famous faces. The iconic tournament, co-hosted by Canada, Mexico and the United States, kicks off on June 11.

To celebrate, a crop of ITV stars, including KSI, Alan Carr and the Loose Women ladies are going head-to head after each drawing a team to support. In the biggest world cup ever – with 48 teams playing over 39 action-packed days – it’s time for some friendly competition off the pitch, too.

Ant and Dec have nabbed Brazil, Alesha Dixon has scored the Netherlands, KSI has been handed France while Loose Women have bagged Scotland and Coronation Street boasts Portugal. Meanwhile, Emmerdale will be backing England.

Also in the sweepstake is Amanda Holden, Tom Allen, Jonathan Ross and Stephen Mulhern. They are joined by stars from Good Morning Britain, Lorraine, This Morning, ITV News, TOWIE, The Real Housewives of Cheshire, plus Rylan, Joel Dommett, Bradley Walsh, Emma Willis and more.

And joining them are 12 real fans, who’ve also got a team in the draw; including NHS workers, firefighters, farmers and grassroots football teams.

Before the World Cup kicks off, viewers will get to see the stars open their sweepstake boxes to find their flags, bunting, and wall charts. Of course there will be the elated celebration of drawing a tournament favourite, to the obvious disappointment of landing a rank outsider.

With 48 teams, three host nations, 16 venues, millions of fans watching around the globe – and one winner, this summer’s World Cup is the sporting highlight of the year.

The best players on the planet will be in action across the USA, Mexico and Canada over five weeks, promising drama galore.

To kick things off, the Mirror is launching a bumper 64-page guide in which all 48 teams will be profiled as well as a closer look at the 16 venues across the three host nations which will stage the action.

And no guide would be complete without a World Cup wallchart, allowing you to chart your viewing – and the path to glory. Order your copy here or pick up at participating retailers from May 27, 2026. Online postage and packaging costs apply.

* ITV will kick off the tournament on June 11th with the first two matches, including one of the host nations, Mexico v South Africa, live from Mexico City at 8pm (UK) on ITV1, ITVX, STV and STV Player
