President Donald Trump‘s disheveled hair during an Oval Office event on maternal health initiatives drew widespread mockery and harsh comments from social media users.
Social media users also observed Trump appearing to nod off during the Monday meeting.
During the event, Trump referred to himself as “the father of fertility” and claimed his strategy for the ongoing U.S. war with Iran demonstrated “military genius.”
Trump detailed his “plan” for the conflict, which included a blockade and asserted the U.S. possessed abundant ammunition.
Iran’s foreign ministry spokesperson, Esmaeil Baghaei, confirmed Trump rejected a “generous” truce proposal from Tehran, which sought an end to the war, lifting the U.S. blockade, and the release of frozen Iranian assets.
