The Daniel crime clan is using a dial-a-drug operation to flood Scotland’s biggest city with cocaine, cannabis and ecstasy.
An underworld source told the Record the Glasgow mob has been raking in cash by supplying high-strength drugs to Albanian crooks to trade across the city.
It is not understood which clan members are behind the scheme.

The Record can today expose the ‘dial a drug’ WhatsApp racket after adverts were sent out on the messaging platform offering direct delivery to users’ front doors.
The insider said: “The Daniel clan have been making an absolute fortune over the last year selling drugs.
“They’ve been supplying Albanian gangs with huge quantities of drugs that are being punted all across Glasgow and beyond.
“Basically these gangs get the phone numbers of users, and bombard them with messages offering their latest product and prices and then deliver the drugs to their doorstep.

“They usually only offer smaller deals, but larger amounts will be supplied once they get to know people and trust them.
“Some of the dealers will also give out free drugs if their customers forward them numbers for other users.”
WhatsApp messaging platform is end-to-end encrypted, meaning only the sender and the recipient can read the messages.

In messages seen by the Record, dealers sent out menus featuring price lists and pictures of the drugs available to potential customers.
One message from a dealer nicknamed “Frosty” offers Class A drugs including cocaine, ecstasy, Mandy – also known as MDMA.
The dealer offers clients pure cocaine and a diluted mix called ‘power 50/50’ for cheaper.
He also boasts: “Refer three mates for a free half gram of of cocaine.”

Another advert sent by a dealer features cannabis for sale in vapes and also edible chocolate for as little as £20.
The dealers also brag that their drivers are available to drop off deliveries seven days a week.
A former drug user told the Record he was bombarded with messages and found himself stuck in a destructive cycle with the dial-a-drug operation.
He said: “I am in recovery now but these guys only made my problem worse.
“I’d wake up every single morning to messages from them and the temptation was just too much.
“I was struggling with stuff in my personal life and went from a recreational user to buying cocaine every single day and it nearly ruined my life.”
Superintendent Jackie Dunbar said: “We are aware of issues with drug dealing in Glasgow and organised criminals will use every method at their disposal to target vulnerable people and sell illegal substances.
“Officers engage with people daily and take enforcement action to disrupt the supply of drugs to local dealers and deprive criminals of their profits.
“We also engage with a range of partners, including the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce, to target organised crime groups, make it difficult for them to operate and protect the public.
“However, we do need the help of the public and our communities help to tackle this type of crime. Anyone with concerns or information should contact Police Scotland on 101, approach officers on patrol, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
An underworld source said the Daniel clan has managed to corner the market over the last year due to the Lyons family being in disarray.
In June last year two members of the Lyons organised crime group Eddie Lyons jnr and Ross Monaghan were shot dead in a bar in Fuengirola on the Costa Del Sol.
The Lyons crime mob boss Steven Lyons was arrested at Bali Airport in March after fleeing his luxury bolthole in Dubai where he had lived anonymously for over a decade.

He is languishing in a Spanish jail facing money laundering charges.
His wife Amanda, 38, was arrested at Dubai’s airport at the request of Spanish police who hope to extradite her.
A total of 14 Lyons’ foot soldiers were arrested in four countries as part of Operation Armorum with 20 people still under investigation.
Amongst those arrested in Spain was Lyon’s sister-in-law Rebecca Hayes.
Electronic devices, cash, company documents and luxury watches were also seized as part of the probe.
Officers from Police Scotland simultaneously arrested eight men at addresses across Glasgow, Bellshill, Cumbernauld, Gartcosh, Caldercruix, Coatbridge and East Whitburn.
