Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State, on Thursday declared that the state is solidly behind President Bola Tinubu.
Mutfwang said Tinubu has shown commitment towards helping Plateau State to be better.
Speaking during the inauguration of Baban Lamba-Sharam road, the governor said Tinubu is poised towards turning around the fortune of Nigerians.
He said: “For us on the Plateau, it’s Tinubu or nothing, we have a president who is concerned about the Plateau and Middle Belt. We have found a president who truly has no other agenda other than to help us to be better than who we are.
“A president who is determined to turn around the fortunes of this country and I can attest to that fact that his commitment is unparallel and I know that challenges abound but I want you to know that by the grace of God there are better days ahead.
“Plateau will become greater than it is today, Nigeria will be greater than it is today. If the president has been so kind to us we need to repay him with kindness and appreciate him for what he has done and I believe when it comes to election time, we don’t need to beg anybody.
“Let’s remain united, let’s remain committed, vigilant, active, productive as we are known. I know our youths and women are not lazy so this year we will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.”
The governor also assured farmers in the state of getting fertilisers to enhance the production of food in the state.
He said: “Some of you have already gotten fertilisers already but there is more on the way, this year we are going to farm, feed ourselves and the nation. I therefore want to challenge all of us to join hands together and be our brother’s keeper.”
The governor urged residents to pray for him and the All Progressives Congress, APC, National chairman, Nentawe Yilwatda to enable them to attract Federal presence to the state.
“As you continue to pray, pray for Nantawe and myself, I can tell you that more dividends will come from Abuja,” he added.
