How to apply for Zacch Adedeji’s taxation, fiscal policy fellowship

Applications are now open for the Zacch Adedeji Taxation and Fiscal Policy Fellowship, a programme designed to equip participants with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in taxation and fiscal policy.

The fellowship offers world-class training, expert mentorship, field experience and practical policy skills for individuals seeking to build careers in tax administration, public finance and fiscal policy.

According to a post obtained from the Federal Character Commission’s X handle on Friday, interested applicants are expected to complete and submit their applications through the fellowship’s official application portal before the deadline of August 15, 2026.

How to apply

Applicants should take note of the following:

Applications are open to young professionals aged 18 to 40.

Applicants can edit their submissions before the deadline.

All submitted details must be accurate, up-to-date and verifiable.

Applicants should clearly explain their vision, experience and innovative ideas in the short-answer sections.

Incomplete applications submitted after the deadline will be automatically disqualified.

Applicants must provide a valid email address capable of receiving notifications throughout the application process.

The deadline for submission is August 15, 2026.

Successful applicants will receive training from industry experts, mentorship, field exposure and practical experience aimed at strengthening their understanding of taxation, fiscal policy and public finance.

Prospective applicants are encouraged to complete and submit their applications well ahead of the closing date to avoid last-minute challenges.
