Holly Willoughby has spoken out after being shoved out of the way at the Monaco Grand Prix as Kim Kardashian’s entourage passed by. The former This Morning presenter has laughed off the incident, saying it “topped off” the weekend.

Holly took to Instagram to share a montage of her time in Monaco, which included the Grand Prix alongside Michael McIntyre. And she captioned her upload: “What a weekend! Monaco you didn’t disappoint… @williamsf1team @jv.f1 thank you for having us.

“Hard to pick a highlight, grid walks, hot laps (I will post this later, safe to say I wasn’t built for speed) all topped off by getting caught up in a @kimkardashian fly past. Also Barry and Daimo thankyou for your hospitality… that’s one weekend that I’ll never forget.”

She revealed what ‘topped’ her experience

“The kardashian wave was the funniest thing ive seen in a long time,” wrote one fan in the comments section. Another added: “Michael getting swept up by the wave,” with a crying with laughter emoji face.

While the Kardashians appeared to abruptly whisk by Michael and Holly – much to their delight – another incident was less well received. Sky Sports presenter Martin Brundle often interviews some of the biggest names in showbiz on the grid for the sports channel.

But as he attempted to get some words out of Kim and sister Khloe, he was rudely blanked. And things almost got awkward as Martin was heard telling a security guard: “Don’t push me, mate”.

It was Kim’s first appearance on the grid since embarking on a romance with Lewis Hamilton. She had been spotted on Saturday watching proceedings from the balcony above the Ferrari garage and Martin was eager to speak to the reality TV star.

But she was having none of it on the hectic grid. And it didn’t go down well with those watching on at home.

Holly’s rare appearance comes after the presenter stepped down from her role as This Morning’s host. She made the decision shortly after her once close pal and co-star Philip Schofield was forced to quit amid his scandal in 2023.

At the time, Phillip who had a glittering career spanning decades came clean about a relationship he had with a younger male colleague while he was married. Despite his apology at the time, viewers were less than impressed with the level of deceit he represented.

Since the drama, Holly has taken on other projects away from the morning slot. This included hosting the challenge show Bear Hunt.

Sadly for Holly, the Netflix series has yet to see a second season. But she also hosted ITV’s revival of You Bet! alongside Stephen Mulhern. That too, won’t be returning after being cancelled.
