If you don’t need all the features offered by Ecobee’s top-tier model, Ecobee’s Smart Thermostat Enhanced is on sale for $169.99 ($30 off) at Amazon and directly from Ecobee, which is one of its better prices so far this year. It also adjusts temperatures based on whether anyone’s home and works with Alexa, Apple Home, Google Home, and SmartThings. Compared to the Premium model, though, you can’t use it as a doorbell, and it lacks indoor air quality monitoring and built-in voice control.
Ecobee’s Smart Thermostat Essential is on sale for $119.99 ($20 off) at Amazon and directly from Ecobee, which is also one of its better prices in recent months. The company’s most affordable thermostat covers the basics, letting you control your home’s temperature, create schedules in the app, and use Alexa, Apple Home, or Google Assistant. It also sends intruder alerts, but unlike Ecobee’s pricier models, it can’t automatically adjust temperatures based on activity in your home.
