Helen Flanagan kept it cryptic after getting away after moving out of Scott Sinclair’s home. It was claimed earlier this year that the footballer was forcing her to leave the lavish six-bedroom pad she stays in with their three children.

Helen, who found fame playing Rosie Webster on ITV’s Coronation Street, shared an emotional update with fans saying she’s returned to a “special place” after making a fresh start. The actress and ex-Celtic ace Scott, 36, decided to split in 2022 after 13 years together.

However, although the former couple never walked down the aisle together, Helen’s home in Belmont, near Bolton, was in Scott’s name. They share kids Matilda, 10, and Delilah, seven, and five-year-old son Charlie and their relationship is now non-existent, and they’re reportedly no longer on talking terms. Instead, any communication is reportedly going through their relatives.

Visiting Scotland with her kids, Helen took the chance to kick back with a number of selfies with the children enjoying the mountainous views and vast lakes. The former Celebs Go Dating star captioned the post: “No weapon used against me shall prosper.

“Love wins. I found this spot at Loch Lomond in lockdown and it’s just special to me, I don’t know why but I suppose we all take comfort in things and if it makes sense to us then that’s enough and every time I go to Scotland I go there.”

That appeared to be a swipe at Scott over the house drama. The property was last year put on the market for a staggering £1.5million, but it was later reduced to £995,000 with Scott keen for Helen to downsize.

The cryptic quote comes following her house move(Image: @hjgflanagan/Instagram)

The move is sure to hurt the actress, who was a huge fan of the area where she used to live. She was said to be desperate not to disrupt their children and their education with her old home very close to her parents. It was suggested back in January that she wasn’t going to go quietly.

“Scott pays for the house and all the bills, and he’s decided a six-bedroom place is way too big for Helen on her own with the kids,” a source said at the start of the year.

They went on to tell The Sun: “Helen doesn’t want to move and is digging her heels in. She loves the place, the kids are settled at the local school, and her mum and dad live around the corner.”

Scott and Helen have been co-parenting for years

She took aim at him in an interview back in February. “He’s a d**khead, but I will always have love for him,” she said, speaking to the Daily Mail. “I don’t like him, I don’t think we like each other. It has been hellish, very challenging. It has left me in a difficult place financially. I have bit my tongue for three and a half years. We have a very bad relationship; we only communicate through my father now.”

Reports claimed back in January that Scott has even offered to buy Helen a new home. They added: “Scott wants to buy Helen a four-bedroom home. He’s even offered to put it in her name, but wants to stop the maintenance payments.” However, the source went on to say that Helen added value to the property.

Helen is said to be keen to put Scott firmly in the past as she moves on with her life and is setting her sights on finding love once again. “Helen is definitely ready for love,” a source told us.

“She loves being with someone and wants to meet a new partner that she can really trust and depend on. She likes feeling like part of a team with someone, and she’s determined that whoever she ends up with will be a guy who adores her three kids too, because they are her top priority.”
