A Hamilton school are celebrating achieving the Gold Reading Schools Award.
Woodside Primary School achieved the Award, recognising the outstanding reading culture pupils and staff have built across the school community.
Woodside Primary teacher Danielle Smith said: “This award celebrates our commitment to fostering a lifelong love of reading through engaging literacy activities, a rich and inclusive reading environment, and the enthusiasm shown by our pupils every day.
“From book clubs and author visits to peer reading initiatives and creative literacy projects, reading has become a central part of school life.
“We are incredibly proud of our students, staff, and families whose support and dedication have helped us reach this milestone.”
