Afrobeat singer, Davido has mocked the All Progressives Congress, APC, over its performance in the ongoing governorship election in Osun State.
Asserting that Osun is not Edo State, Davido claimed that the APC had lost in the ward of former Osun State Governor, Bisi Akande.

He said this in a series of posts shared on his verified X handle on Saturday, as votes were being counted across the state.
The tweet read, âTheir group chat don scatter! Baba Akande lost his ward. Gov Adeleke is cruising to victory. Shame APC. Osun no be Edo!â he wrote.
Recall that the singer, openly mobilised support for the incumbent and Accord Party candidate, Ademola Adeleke, his uncle.
He equally urged residents to remain vigilant and resist what he described as alleged plans to scuttle their victory by former Osun State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola.
âI implore Osun people to stay vigilant all night and resist plans of Oyetola. Na we get Osogbo! Imole ti woleeeee,â he added.
As of 5:51 p.m. on Saturday, a check of the INEC Result Viewing Portal showed that results from 1695 of the 3,763 polling units had been uploaded.
