Gogglebox stars Jenny Newby and Lee Riley have been supported by fans after bidding farewell.
The charismatic duo first joined the hit Channel 4 show in 2014 to share their take on the television shows that have kept the nation talking throughout the week. The pair who originate from Hull soon won over viewers and have been a regular part of the show ever since.
In a recent post shared on their joint Instagram account, Jenny and Lee sent their best wishes to fans while announcing that the current series is drawing to a close.
In the clip, Lee said: “Well guys, that’s it, the last of the show this evening. I hope you’ve enjoyed all 16 weeks as much as we have. Thank you for all your support through this series.”

Jenny added: “Yeah and we hope to see you all again in August.” Providing more details, Lee added that they will be returning at the end of August/September.
After the pair shared their update, fans headed straight to the comments to wish them well. One fan wrote: “You two never fail to make me smile, you are both the reason I watch gogglebox never stop the double act. Have a wonderful summer.”
Another penned: “Will miss you all but looking forward to the laughs again……especially from you two!!! Have a wonderful summer!!”

A third chimed: “I’ve loved it as always. Love to you both see you in September. Have a fabulous summer xx.” Another fan of the show added: “You both have a wonderful holiday, and look forward to seeing you both at the end of august, see you at 9 tonight.”
The news comes after it was revealed that a Gogglebox star recently passed away. Studio Lambert, the production company behind the Channel 4 programme, announced that Ken Harwood sadly died aged 77.
Ken, who was from Consett in County Durham, appeared regularly on the show from 2020 to 2022 with his wife Anne, whom he had been married to for 55 years.

A spokesperson for Studio Lambert said: “He will be dearly missed by his wife Anne, sons Simon and Ross, daughter-in-law, Elle, grandchildren Freya and Tristram, and all who knew him.”
The company also stated that a tribute to Ken Harwood would be featured at the end of the episode of Gogglebox which aired earlier this month.
