The Federal Road Safety Corps, Ekiti State Command, wishes to inform the general public and all motorists that a tanker loaded with gas has broken down and is blocking the entire carriageway on the Ado–Ilawe Road.
The incident has completely disrupted the flow of traffic along that axis.
In view of the above, all motorists are strongly advised to avoid the Ado–Ilawe Road for now and use alternative routes until further notice.
All relevant emergency services have been activated and are currently on the ground, cordoning off the area with a view to resolving the situation and restoring normal traffic flow.
