As Calvin Harris returns to Hampden Park this weekend for two huge homecoming shows, Glasgow City Council have confirmed a series of temporary road closures in and around the area.
The Scots DJ, 42, will perform tonight on Saturday August 1 and Sunday August 2 to crowds of 50,000 per night. It’s the first time Harris has played Hampden since his 2022 show.
His highly anticipated two-day residency will cause local road closures which were put in place yesterday on Friday, July 31 and will remain until Sunday.

The council said the restrictions have been applied “for the safety of crowds and for the safety of other road users and pedestrians.”
All vehicles are impacted with the exception of emergency services and those permitted by the council’s events team.
