‘Find them for me’ — VeryDarkMan offers N1m reward over viral wig theft harassment video

Social media activist, VeryDarkMan, has called for the identification and arrest of individuals seen in a viral video harassing two young girls accused of stealing wigs.

Reacting to the incident in a video shared on his social media platforms, VeryDarkMan condemned the treatment meted out to the girls, arguing that no one has the right to subject suspects to public humiliation or mob justice regardless of the allegations against them.

He announced a reward of N1 million for anyone who can provide credible information leading to the identification of the women involved in the alleged harassment.

According to him, the focus should be on allowing law enforcement agencies to handle any allegations of theft rather than taking the law into one’s own hands.

“I am offering N1 million to anyone who can identify these girls for me,” he said while demanding that those responsible be traced and investigated.

The activist maintained that even if the girls were guilty of stealing wigs, they were entitled to due process and should not be subjected to public abuse or degrading treatment.

He further urged the police to intervene and ensure that everyone involved is held accountable under the law.
