Ex-England footballer arrested for drug driving after ‘extremely tough couple of years’

Ex-England footballer Raheem Sterling was arrested on suspicion of drug driving after crashing his Lamborghini on the M3 southbound, it is understood.
The incident took place shortly before 9am on Thursday 28 May near the Minley Interchange.
Hampshire Police confirmed a 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst unfit through drugs, dangerous driving, possession of Class C drugs, and failing to provide a specimen.
Authorities reported no injuries and no other vehicles were involved in the collision.
A source close to Sterling said that he has been experiencing “immeasurable psychological strain” after an “extremely tough couple of years”.
