Chelsea manager, Xabi Alonso has given an update on the injury suffered by Moises Caicedo in their 4-3 win over Brighton on Sunday.
Caicedo, who was a second-half substitute, lasted only 13 minutes on the pitch.
The Ecuadorian midfielder sat on the pitch before limping down the tunnel.
Alonso then summoned Valentin Barco to take Caicedo’s place for the rest of the match.

After the match, Alonso revealed that Caicedo had aggravated a knock he was already nursing.
“It wasn’t more than last time. He was cautious. His feeling was not the best. It wasn’t something new,” Alonso said about Caicedo, who only returned to training on Friday.
