EPL: Scholes names two teams that will not challenge Arsenal for title

Manchester United legend, Paul Scholes, has predicted that two teams will not challenge Arsenal for the Premier League title this season.

According to Scholes, United and Chelsea will not be in the race to be champions.

The Red Devils have four points from their opening three fixtures.

For the Blues, they beat Fulham and Brighton, before they lost 2-1 to Arsenal last Sunday.

The Gunners and Manchester City are the only two clubs to still have a perfect record so far.

Scholes has now claimed that the title race will be between those two teams.

“I don’t think Chelsea are a title rival, I think they’ve got a bit of work to do,” Scholes said on The Good, The Bad and The Football podcast.

On United, Scholes added: “They will be top four, but don’t be expecting a title challenge, no chance.

“It’s obvious that defensively they’re not good enough. They are going to concede goals.”
