Manchester United legend, Paul Scholes, has slammed Arsenal’s Declan Rice for committing “the most annoying offence in the world” against Chelsea’s Morgan Rogers during both teams’ Premier League clash over the weekend.
Scholes was speaking on The Good, The Bad & The Football podcast alongside his former Manchester United teammate Nicky Butt.
Rice and Rogers were involved in a heated altercation during the closing stages of Arsenal’s 2-1 win against Chelsea in the London derby.
“Do you think there might have been a little bit of something during the summer between Morgan Rogers and Declan Rice?” Scholes asked Butt.

“What Declan Rice did to him was the most annoying thing in the world. When people just leg you up when you are running.
“He snapped Morgan Rogers, and rightly so,” he said.
