  • England made a winning start to their World Cup campaign by beating Croatia 4-2 in Dallas on Wednesday.
  • Harry Kane scored twice in the first half – a penalty and a header – but England were pegged back on both occasions by goals from Martin Baturina and Petar Musa.
  • England came flying out the blocks in the second half with Jude Bellingham putting them back in front just two minutes after the break.
  • Marcus Rashford sealed the victory five minutes from time with a composed finish, as England hit their straps in the second half.
  • Thomas Tuchel’s men will be back in action when they face Ghana on 23 June.
