‘Deluded’ Bea’s future has been sealed on EastEnders. In recent weeks, fans of the BBC soap have seen Bea worm her way in with Honey and Billy Mitchell, after being kicked out of Peacock Palace by Elaine and Linda.

But as Bea’s friendship with Honey continued and she made it clear she had no plans to move out of Honey and Billy’s home, her world started to crumble. Having been kicked out by her ex-partner, Bea had nobody other than Honey and Billy, with no way of paying her way until a job arose at McKlunky’s.

Despite this, she found other ways to rake in the cash and, in a fit of deviance, took out a credit card in Honey’s name while she was on holiday. Since then, Bea has continued splashing the cash, and Honey later received letters from the credit card company, completely unaware that her identity had been stolen – until now.

During Monday night’s episode, things came to blows for Bea, who had been telling people how besotted she was with Ian Beale, unaware that just days before, he had passionately kissed Elaine after he won the local councillor elections.

Although Bea believed their love was blossoming, the same couldn’t be said for Ian, who made his feelings very clear. After the local newspaper branded them Mr and Mrs Beale, he saw red and believed that Bea may have been behind it, as she was a huge driving force in his campaigning.

In a storm, he headed over to Billy and Honey’s to confront Bea, telling her she had been “overenthusiastic”, but she didn’t take the signals and explained she was excited for their future, attending fancy dinners and events as the partner of a local politician. Bea later confirmed that, along with the libellous video she shared of Elaine, she had also bought Ian social media followers to make him look “more popular”.

“I do have feelings for you, Ian,” she said, adding that she didn’t want to jinx anything. Ian, however, was not holding back. “I don’t have feelings for you,” he commented, before saying Bea lived in “cloud cuckoo land”, adding that she was a “deluded, needy fantasist, trying to live her life through other people.”

Bea saw red and instantly marched Ian out of the flat, in an arm lock, before chucking him on the street. But as time went on, Ian headed home to pack away his election campaign materials, including posters. But as he was doing so, he noticed something confusing – invoices made out to Susan Mitchell, Honey’s real name.

Startled by his findings, he headed back over to Honey and Billy’s to confront Bea, who said she had told Honey the “truth” about their break-up, claiming she ended things with Ian. But he wasn’t prepared to let it slide; instead, he questioned whether Bea and Honey wanted to hear the real truth – and that’s when he dropped the bombshell.

“Is that what you want? The truth?” he asked, adding: “Let’s start with these invoices for my election campaign made out to Susan Mitchell. There, and there, she’s the one who stole your identity,” before the classic doof doof moment.

Taking to Facebook, fans now believe that this will be the start of Bea’s exit. One fan said: “Do you think that now Bea has been found out as a credit card fraud she will finally leave?” A second added: “When Bea was first brought into EE she was arguing with the Landlord! Most probably hadn’t paid any rent so we knew she might be a con woman even then!”

“At last Bea has been caught. Well done Ian,” said another.
