Delta Goodrem makes one request for Strictly dance partner
- Australian singer Delta Goodrem has been confirmed as a contestant for the new series of BBC‘s Strictly Come Dancing, which is scheduled to begin in September.
- Goodrem, who stands at 5 feet 10 inches tall, said she did not have a preference as to which professional dancer she would compete alongside, however she did say she would “love to be” paired with someone taller than her because she “doesn’t really want to be the one that has to lift people”.
- If her request is met, she would likely be paired with either Kai Widdrington or Aljaž Škorjanec, both of whom are over six feet tall.
- The upcoming series will introduce five new professional dancers, replacing five departing pros.
- Goodrem, known for her role in Neighbours and as a judge on The Voice Australia, expressed her excitement for the show, which will be hosted by Emma Willis, Johannes Radebe, and Josh Widdicombe.
