A Delta Air Lines flight has made an emergency landing in Albuquerque, New Mexico, while travelling to New York City with Hollywood stars Andrew Garfield and Nick Robinson on board.
Delta Flight 958 departed Los Angeles for New York on Wednesday, September 9, but was diverted to Albuquerque after passengers reported a smoky odour inside the aircraft.
A spokesperson for Delta Air Lines confirmed that the aircraft landed safely in Albuquerque following the diversion.
“We apologise to our customers on Delta Flight 958 (LAX to JFK) on Sept. 9, which diverted to Albuquerque due to a smoky odour in the aircraft.

“The aircraft landed uneventfully, and our teams worked to re-accommodate customers as quickly as possible to their final destinations,” the airline said in a statement.
Garfield, best known for portraying Spider-Man in The Amazing Spider-Man films, was travelling with fellow actor Nick Robinson and other public figures, including Adults star Owen Thiele, Love Island USA’s Dylan Wrona and singer Mark Ambor.
