DC’s July 4 fireworks show delayed because of Trump rally
TRUMP’S STATE FAIR SUFFERS BRUTAL TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES, SMALL CROWDS
A record-breaking July 4th fireworks display in Washington, D.C., will be delayed until approximately 11 p.m. due to a rally hosted by President Donald Trump.
The fireworks show is expected to be the largest and longest in D.C. history, featuring over 850,000 pyrotechnic effects and lasting about 40 minutes.
Donald Trump announced the event as a “TRUMP RALLY” or “TRIBUTE TO AMERICA” starting at 7 p.m. ET, which he claimed would be the “most spectacular” of its kind.
The late start time for the fireworks has raised concerns among D.C. residents, particularly families with young children and pet owners.
Trump encouraged supporters to attend his speech and the fireworks, emphasizing the importance of a large turnout to counter negative media portrayals.
