Sir David Beckham has cashed in at this year’s World Cup thanks to his appearances in numerous advertisements throughout the tournament. The former England international earned 115 caps for his country but never reached the final on the world’s biggest stage.
Beckham reached the quarter-finals of the World Cup but will make his presence known throughout this year’s main event. This is thanks to his multiple advertisement appearances, which are set to earn him millions.
The 51-year-old will star in a number of commercials, including the likes of Lay’s crisps and Adidas. Other appearances consist of brands like Home Depot, McDonald’s, the Bank of America and Stella Artois.
Market analysts have predicted that the ex-Manchester United star will earn a whopping £19million for his many endorsements at the World Cup. Marketing Made Clear said: “Brands work with Beckham because he is dependable and recognisable.”

Beckham is already worth a pretty penny after being named as the first British athlete to reach billionaire status. The Inter Miami co-owner is said to have a net worth of £1.185billion, according to the Sunday Times Rich List.
This wealth is shared with former pop star and entrepreneur wife Lady Victoria, who also owns a luxury fashion label. The pair have reportedly doubled their net worth in just a year, rising from £500m in 2025.
Beckham also made plenty during his professional career, starring for United, Real Madrid, LA Galaxy and Paris Saint-Germain. The midfielder earned around £90,000-a-week at Old Trafford and joined Madrid in 2003 for a whopping £32m.

However, his most lucrative deal came with LA Galaxy in 2007. Beckham joined the MLS outfit and pioneered the designated player rule, which guaranteed the star £4.9m a year. This clause handed him a healthy salary, personal endorsements, and a cut of all team revenue from ticket sales, sponsorships and merchandise.
Overall, Beckham was set to make around £193m over five years in the MLS. He left the club after six seasons, which included two loans to AC Milan, and joined PSG on a free, spending half a season in France before retiring.
The majority of Beckham’s wealth has been accumulated post-football, with a massive chunk coming from his co-ownership with Inter Miami. Now, he is set to add even more to that bolstering figure with his World Cup escapades.
