Dana White condemns UFC fighter’s ‘nasty’ comments about Michelle Obama
Fighter Josh Hokit yells ‘Michelle Obama is a man’ after winning fight at the White House
UFC heavyweight champion Josh Hokit publicly claimed “Michelle Obama is a man” during a post-fight interview with Joe Rogan at the UFC Freedom 250 event held at the White House.
UFC President and CEO Dana White denounced Hokit’s “nasty and false” remarks, stating he is “completely against saying nasty and false things about people’s families.”
Hokit’s unprompted comments sparked widespread backlash from both Republican and Democratic figures, including Fox News columnist David Marcus and Democratic Congressman Christian Menefee.
Critics, including Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy and former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III, condemned Hokit’s statement as a “disgrace” and “incredibly gross.”
The White House has not yet publicly commented on the incident, and it remains unclear if Hokit will face consequences for his remarks.
