Jodie Ramsey steps up her plan against David Platt on Coronation Street next week. The character recently set up her brother-in-law, amid her plan to wreck his marriage to her sister Shona Platt. After wanting to target Shona over their past, she initially tried to get close to David, thinking she could steal him.
But then it became more about her ruining Shona’s happiness, and she pretended a drunken David made a move on her. Pretending to be Shona, Jodie hid in their bed, with a drunk David joining her.
He began kissing her thinking it was his wife, only to realise Jodie was in the bed. David kicked her out and called her out, while Jodie has claimed David tried to seduce her.

This has sort of been left for now, but the plot is revisited next week. Jodie reignites her plan to target David and cause trouble for him and Shona.
She wastes no time in making him squirm, trying to trick him in terms of what he remembers about that night. Jodie reminds him about him climbing into bed with her, but claims that David said her name.
Suggesting this proves he knew it was her he was kissing, David is floored by her comments. Fearing he cheated on Shona with intent, he considers telling her everything.
Later in the week, Jodie makes a veiled dig at David about saying her name, and David squirms. David confides in Maria about his worries, and Maria advises him to come clean.

It comes as fans think a new behind-the-scenes snap teases David’s sister Sarah Platt’s mystery secret with Gary Windass. One viewer noted the snaps, shared by TV director Dom Stephenson, could have a hidden clue in them.
The pics are of a dinner party or a dinner, with candles, food and at least two people. The location is not clear, nor is the people in the shot. But after Maria actress Samia Longchambon recently posted a snap of herself in a pink dress, one viewer speculated this was the outfit worn by one of the people in the blurred out BTS picture.
The theory being shared is that these possibly big episodes will see an affair exposed. One fan posted: “Defo the affair reveal between Gary and Sarah. That’s Maria on the right as well.” A fan replied to this saying: “Good detective skills wonder who she is with?”
