Gary Windass is under the spotlight once again next week on Coronation Street.
The character, who is a suspect in Theo Silverton’s murder, faces yet more accusations next week. Kit Green and Lisa Swain are soon wanting answers, with Kit convinced they have their murderer.
Theo was killed off a few weeks ago, with Gary being one of six characters named as potential killers. As new information comes to light, an alibi is tested and Gary has some explaining to do.
It’s clear Gary is hiding something, with his secretive behaviour and his secret chats with Sarah Platt. But Kit and Lisa look into the fact he may be Theo’s killer next week, leaving Gary’s partner Maria Connor in turmoil.

Spoilers reveal that Kit questions Gary about Todd’s missing phone, that is found. Gary feigns ignorance, but it’s teased he knows something about it going missing, and the sim card being removed.
Kit is convinced Gary knows more than he’s letting on, and tells Lisa such. He’s determined to get to the bottom of it, believing Gary is hiding something.
Later in the week, Maria is uneasy as she continues to worry about her relationship. With Gary acting strangely and clearly hiding something, she’s panicked something is going on.
Kit continues to make it clear he is on to Gary, telling him he’s watching him. Kit tells Lisa that Gary is their man, convinced more than ever that he is their number one suspect – but is he right?

As Gary apologises to Maria for standing her up the night before, he’s interrupted by the arrival of Kit and Lisa who have more questions, and seemingly they have made a discovery. Lisa explains they’d like Maria to go over her statement again.
Of course Maria gave Gary a fake alibi, and so this request leaves Gary rattled. But why do they need Maria to help them, and what might they have on Gary?
Viewers will have to tune in next week to find out what they know, and whether Maria could find herself in trouble. Might they have caught Maria elsewhere at the time she claimed to be with Gary, or could new evidence suggest Gary was somewhere else than he suggested?
It comes as fans predicted an affair twist for Gary and his ex Sarah, Kit’s partner. The pair appear to be hiding something, covering something up from the night Theo died, but all will be revealed soon.
