Coronation Street cliffhanger as Gary Windass looks set to confess
- Coronation Street fans were treated to a dramatic cliffhanger on Sunday night regarding character Gary Windass and a long-running storyline about the death of Theo Silverton.
- In the final moments of the latest episode, Windass – played by Mikey North – is seen arriving at the Police station, ready to confess his involvement in the saga.
- For months Windass has protected Sarah Platt ( played by Tina O’Brien), so much so that his wife Maria Connor (played by Samia Longchambon) believed they were having an affair.
- Gary was the first person Platt contacted after she hit Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) over the head with some scaffolding, with him then falling to his death.
- For months, Windass has covered for Platt, evening hiding a piece of incriminating scaffolding, but it seems that is about to come to an end.
