Veteran comedian Bobby Davro, 67, has revealed he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer.
Appearing on ITV’s This Morning, Davro urged men to undergo PSA tests and prostate examinations, highlighting that his own PSA level was 24.
He expressed relief after being told by a urologist that his intermediate-stage cancer was not terminal, stating he would be “buying Christmas presents for many years to come”.
Davro mentioned that his only symptom prior to diagnosis was erectile dysfunction.
The diagnosis follows a stroke two years ago and the death of his fiancée, Vicky Wright, from pancreatic cancer three years prior.
